teamABC - Stay Indoors (acoustic)

Wrote this last week at some point. I think it rained the next day as well.

i guess if i was a river i’d be good at floating
i guess i’m doing a good job at swimming along right now
i guess if i was more sure about what i was doing 
then i could be more certain, and stop taking stabs in the dark

it’s almost autumn, but the world is still warm
it comes in phases, and we shut the window earlier because of a slight breeze
it’ll be nice to see what happens tomorrow; i hope it rains, and we stay indoors
nothing says lets stay under the sheets than a storm at yr window

the truth is, im looking forward to waking up tomorrow so much
that i can’t even bring myself to sleep
instead, i’ll write impossible language into notepad documents
that act and look like blank canvas

New demo. I’m going to get mixed up between Forest Owls and teamABC at some point. Perhaps Forest Owls might be the next album title.

Luke Leighfield + Jose Vanders - Blindsided (teamABC’s Sunday Morning Remix)

I did a remix, completely had this almost finished about a month ago, but yeah! Just finished tweaking it, and it’s pretty much ready for your ears!

It’s a cover of a Bon Iver song, which is totally pretty in it’s own right (video HERE), but I’ve made it into a little sparkly pop song, as per usual really!

There are so many words that we don’t want to hear
And they float on like satellites when they are near
And they’ll crash through our stratospheres and burn into dust
And it’s all we can hope for, to hit orbit or else we’ve lost

And we’re finding out now what we’d lost for so long
And it tries even harder to prove we were wrong
But we weren’t and we never were, the sky seems so far
And we’ll shoot for a galaxy or just get lost in the stars
