#022 Those Chaos Days 

There was so much darkness in my life
I just couldn’t see it right
The moon still shone so ever bright
But clouds they made it fight

A gust of wind, a breath of air
Saw things that weren’t even there
Some naive thoughts that I once had
Were not wrong, not stupid, and i’m glad

The ships that I chose to sink
Didn’t ever think that I would think
And now with all this restless angst,
Those chaos days have passed

Da da dum….

Now I can see so much more
Destruction has just left my door
My mind is clear and my thoughts are pure
It’s never been so charged before

I know all about all of my flaws
I tell you mine, and you say yours
Yet neither one of us runs away
We shout together “we’ll stay, we’ll stay, we’ll stay”

Now it just seems so unfair
That the world should even care
For fools like me and fools like you
We do just what we do

And so it might piss people off
I’ll run with you, and I won’t stop
I got the best feeling about this
I won’t stop, It’s worth every risk, every fight, every kiss!
